In April of 2013, the infamous street artist Banksy took New York by storm with a month of daily surprise works. No one knew where they would show up or what they would represent. Crowds formed, rumors flew, artworks were defaced—it was a month-long media event.

In Chelsea one Saturday, across the street from one of Banksy's works, a conceptual artist had, in a seeming coincidence, taken over a gas station with a three-dimensional work featuring a pastoral theme.

I never found out the artist's name, or the installation's, so if anyone can provide this information for credit's sake, please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

My treatment of a panoramic photo of this odd work of art is here.
